We are delighted to announce that we have achieved an average score of 9.97 on Checkatrade reviews of our services and have maintained a high rating for a long period of time now!

Based on 256 customers reviews, we average 9.99 out of 10 for workmanship and courtesy, 9.96 for reliability and 9.95 for tidiness.

With regards to invoice history, based on 230 reviews, we have averaged a 99.13% charge per quote/estimate rating, which is outstanding!

Over the past year, we have maintained a 100% charge per quote/estimate rating and haven’t missed a single appointment.

What is Checkatrade?

For those who aren’t familiar with Checkatrade, it is a commercial directory of over 29,000 vetted traders. It is mostly used by tradespeople as a way of connecting with existing customers, but it can also be used to advertise their business to 1.4 million users per month.

To use the platform, traders must pass a face-to-face interview, provide a minimum of 5 references and different details, such as insurance and qualifications to pass thorough examinations.

Furthermore, all traders must follow a code of conduct and allow Checkatrade to talk to Trading Standards about their work. Therefore, Checkatrade only allows traders who are transparent and take great pride in the quality of their work to use the platform.

In terms of the reviewing process, customers can evaluate a trader’s work online or via a Freepost postcard. The review system highlights how each business has performed in common areas of consideration, such as timekeeping or value for money. Any negative feedback is typically uploaded within five days if the reviewer gives Checkatrade permission to contact the trader. The trader is then allowed to reply to the complaint and is encouraged to improve their services.

We have received 380 reviews since we joined Checkatrade in 2013 and the lowest rating we have received in this time is 8.75, which is quite remarkable.
